Biography of Chris Taylor
Chris Taylor studied a BSc in Economics at Nottingham University and MSc Public Policy focussing on environmental economics at University College London. He joined the Government Economic Service in 2001 and has since worked in Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs on environmental taxation and the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs in a Climate Change team focussing on the G8 and other international climate change issues.
In November 2005 joined the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change as a Senior Economist. Within the Stern he was lead author on chapters technology policy, international technology co-operation and supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy in developing countries. Since the launch of the Review he has been involved in disseminating the report's findings around the world including the US and China.
